Future Plans: I am interested in pursuing a Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship. 

Why UMASS?: Ever since I attended St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury and drove past UMass Memorial Medical Center each morning, I dreamed of one day training there. The incredibly supportive environment, extensive operative exposure beginning on day one, and overall outstanding training all drew me to this program. Combining these important aspects with the fact that my family lives nearby is what made UMass my top choice. 

Favorite thing to do in Worcester:  Golf, breweries, Woo Sox, food. The city has come a long way and it is a great time to be in Worcester. I enjoy snowboarding and snowmobiling, and everything is a maximum of a 2-hour ride from Worcester, making it the ideal location in New England.
