Q&A Sessions
The T.H. Chan School of Medicine hosts Q&A sessions throughout the interview season. The PURCH and LEAD tracks, as well as the MSTP, will also host track and MSTP specific sessions.
Details are accessible via the PeopleSoft system (Interview Information tile), where you completed the secondary application, or via email notifications from the MSTP or tracks.
The LEAD track will host virtual Q+A sessions for invited applicants on the interview day prior to the start of the interviews. The interview schedule and instructions will be emailed to applicants prior to the scheduled interview date.
You can participate in the T.H. Chan School of Medicine Q&A sessions before or after your interview, as well as attend more than once.
PURCH applicants are encouraged to participate in the PURCH track specific Q&A sessions in advance of their interview date, if possible.
Admissions Cycle Overview
We have rolling admissions at UMass Chan, therefore, it may take some time before a decision is made on your application. We ask for your patience during this process. Please note that your application will remain under active consideration until a decision is made, and you are contacted by us via email.
In compliance with AAMC traffic rules, acceptance will start being sent in mid-October except for early decision notifications which will go out earlier, and you will be notified of the final decision on your application no later than April 30th.
Acceptance Procedure
Acceptance notices are sent by email. Acceptance offers are provisional pending successfully passing a criminal background check. Accepted applicants will be invited to Accepted Students Day festivities. Details regarding all necessary acceptance procedures and processes are provided in the acceptance notice and in subsequent notifications following acceptance.
