The Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing is distinctive as the only publicly funded nursing school in the Commonwealth with a sole focus on graduate nursing education.

We are one of only three nursing schools in New England based at an academic health sciences center, sharing campus resources and facilities with its clinical partner and the T.H. Chan School of Medicine, as well as the Office Graduate Medical Education (GME). Such proximity allows us to be at the forefront of interprofessional education.

We offer Master’s degrees, Post-Master’s Certificates, DNP degrees and PhD degrees, preparing registered professional and advanced practice nurses within nurse practitioner, nurse educator tracks and for faculty, research and other nursing leadership positions

Faculty Positions:

Assistant Professor - DNP Program - This part-time (.5 FTE, benefited) 12- month position includes teaching and practice scholarship responsibilities in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Our DNP program prepares graduate level non-RNs with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a non-nursing field, RNs with a Bachelor’s degree and Post Master’s Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and nurse administrators.  Learn more and apply here

Assistant Professor – Master’s Direct Entry Program  The successful candidate will provide didactic and clinical instruction in the Master’s Direct Entry program and participate in classroom, clinical, simulation, and laboratory-based teaching. Faculty are expected to employ evidence-based teaching strategies that promote clinical judgment and achievement of course outcomes. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development, student evaluation, academic advising, and service to the School and University. Learn more and apply here
