[PAGE TYPE] News Listing Page

A news listing page lists News Pages which reside in a structured News Container in the content tree. The news structure will have year containers which contain month containers which in turn contain the news pages.

The News Listing Page will display the: title, date and teaser of each news page.

In the properties of this page, on the "List Settings tab", set the "News Page Container" to point to the News Listing page under which the news containers reside, or set it to a particular year or month container if you woould like to only display those pages. 

Under the "List Settings" tab, you can:

• set a limit on how many items display
• set pagination if the list is long
• choose the sort order
• set the default format of the date
• apply filtering
