Visiting Electives for 4th Year Medical Students

We have specifically designed our electives for the 4th year medical student who is interested in educational training opportunities with our Family Medicine residents. These electives are four weeks in length and you can choose from either inpatient or outpatient-based experiences.

This allows you to choose from a spectrum of health care settings. The focus of all our electives is to acquaint you with the practice of Family Medicine and give you first hand experience with our program. Usually we can accommodate student requests; however, we advise that you secure a spot at least three months in advance of your desired rotation.

We offer both an Outpatient Sub-I (FC 423) and an Inpatient Sub-I (FC-400) which includes an Inpatient Team Track as well as a Hospital Medicine track.
