Ryan Tai Outstanding Clinical Educator
Ryan Tai, MD, associate professor, musculoskeletal imaging, was honored with two awards for his work educating medical students this year. The UMass Chan Star Award and Outstanding Clinical Medical Educator Award by the graduating Class of 2025!
The Educational Achievement (Star) Award was presented to Dr. Tai at the 2025 Educational Recognition Awards Ceremony and Last Lecture presentation. Dr. Tai was recognized for his dedication to improving the quality of medical education and leadership in developing and implementing the new Radiology Clerkship.
The Outstanding Clinical Medical Educator Award was presented during the T.H. Chan School of Medicine Awards Ceremony/Breakfast, the Friday before graduation. The Outstanding Clinical Educator Awards are voted by the graduating class and awarded to faculty in recognition of their dedication and commitment to students in the clinical science curriculum.
Dr. Tai is director for strategic academic and educational integration and musculoskeletal imaging associate division chief for the department of Radiology.
