The Office of Educational Affairs (OEA) at UMass Chan is committed to advancing the T.H. Chan School of Medicine’s educational mission. The OEA network of affiliate offices provide seamless programming and services for learners across the continuum of medical education— undergraduate medical education, graduate medical education and continuing medical education. We provide oversight and management for entry- and graduate-level preparation, admissions, undergraduate and continuing medical education and student affairs. Our commitment to interprofessional education, experiential learning and curricular innovation is exemplified by our leadership of the interprofessional Center for Experiential Learning and Simulation (iCELS). We offer evidence-based solutions through the office of institutional research, evaluation and assessment (IREA) and an internationally recognized library that is a leader in service and learning.
Through our joint offices and resources, the OEA adopts collaborative partnerships and works to fulfill the university and clinical system joint strategic plan for education.
