In addition to supervising and helping new local users to conduct Cryo-EM experiments and image processing in the Cryo-EM Core Facility, we also design, develop, and implement new methods and protocols to maximize the throughput of this quickly changing technique. 

We develop new methods and programs to improve sample preparation, data collection, and image processing of Cryo-EM data.

Cryo-EM is an incredibly powerful too, but it can be difficult to use. Our goal is to increase the accessibility of the Cryo-EM to more research, pharmaceutical, and biotech labs.
